Jackson Ezinga is a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Video Production from Grand Valley State University in 2013. He is a freelance Producer, Director, and Assistant Director for film, commercial, TV, and web video. His three short films, TiPi (2013), The King of Oakes and Commerce (2017), and License & Registration (2019) have all screened in film festivals throughout Michigan, the US, Canada, and in Europe where they have won multiple awards.

He frequently collaborates on music videos with his partner, Jeen Na, and has been commissioned by Sony Music UK, Quite Scientific, and several independent artists for music videos through his production company, EZO Productions. Their music videos have millions of views on Youtube and Vimeo and have also screened in film festivals nationwide.

Jackson is also a member of the Grand Rapids film band, Sob Noisse, whose feature films were added to the Criterion Channel in May, 2022. He is a board member of the Grand Rapids Film Society and has been on the selection panel for Open Projector Night, a quarterly Michigan film festival, since 2015.
